The view at the top.
We can probably all recall a time when this prospect has kept us struggling up a steep track. We've drawn energy and resolve from the expectation of the spectacular outlook we'll reach sooner or later.
Sometimes this situation is used as an analogy for our struggle to reach certain goals in life; they are worth, we feel, the work and the sacrifice demanded. But the struggle up a precipitous trail to a final reward is a misleading picture of the lot of man as the inseparable idea of Spirit.
