Many years ago, when I had been studying Christian Science just a short time and my husband did not share my interest, I found myself facing these questions: Should I pursue this study and church attendance on my own? Or should I continue social activities that seemed to conflict with both church attendance and my standard of thinking?
The answer came, as if spoken, when I was en route to a Wednesday testimony meeting at a branch Church of Christ, Scientist (Isa. 30:21): "This is the way, walk ye in it." To the best of my ability I have obeyed that command, and I am grateful for the ensuing blessings. There have been many physical healings, including those of colds and coughs, ringworm, a tumor on an ankle, and digestive disturbances.
My first physical healing was of an eye infection previously diagnosed as conjunctivitis. When I noticed the symptoms one morning, I thought that if I ignored the condition, it would go away. But it didn't, and by noon I could no longer endure sunlight.
