Why divine Science is final

From the March 1981 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Talking with his disciples just before the crucifixion, Christ Jesus spoke plainly of a final revelation yet to come. He gave a remarkably precise description of its nature: "The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."John 14:26.

Again he said, "When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth." Still again, he reemphasized that the Comforter would reveal all truth: "All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you."16:13, 15.

The more deeply one understands divine Science, the more clearly he perceives it to be the promised Comforter. Divine Science, known in its application to humanity, fulfills the Master's description with striking exactness. Expressing Jesus' teachings, spirit, and example, it brings to our remembrance all the things he taught, and proves them in works of redemption and healing.
