"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness,"Gen. 1:26. the Bible declares.
How many times have you found yourself wanting to understand more fully God's relation to His divinely created man, while prayerfully trying to heal a physical ailment or resolve a situation? And how many times have you found that your attempts to understand this relationship have led you to believe that God is perfect, and His image and likeness—man—is perfect, but you are far from perfect, and constantly struggling to express that perfection?
An error that might keep one from demonstrating the spiritual perfection he seeks can be found in the logic, or rather the illogic, of the belief that one is a mortal trying to become an immortal. When we compare this view to the biblical account of creation, the error stands out in bold relief.
