The diamond

From the September 1983 issue of The Christian Science Journal

A diamond in a darkened room
Is nothing but a stone.
It needs the light to sparkle—
It cannot shine alone.

So raise the shades of darkened sense,
And let Christ's light shine through.
God's perfect gem is always there—
Immortal, sin-free you.
