What is it that makes us feel so close to those we love at Christmastime? There's a bond, a unity with others, that often seems especially pronounced at this time of the year.
This question of Christmas and unity and love was occupying my thoughts one day when I was walking on a busy downtown street. Suddenly two men raced around the corner and nearly collided with me.
