Our resurrection morn

From the April 1985 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Resurrection. What is it? Just a past incident, a once-a-year celebration on Easter Day which afterward drops as ashes at our feet? Resurrection is really a lifting up from the ashes of sickness and heaviness which seem so loaded upon mankind.

Christ Jesus' resurrection was a glory that turned not only individuals but nations in their course. It was a divine radiance—a radiance the world had never known before. Christ, Truth, had overcome death! And Christ still does today—overcomes the death of joy, activity, love.

Resurrection is a springtide of divine Love that touches each detail of our being, a glorious transformation of the heart. It trumpets a wonder of newborn green in our thought. Its violet grace notes bring joy to fulfillment.
