Our family has both experienced and witnessed the healing efficacy of Christian Science for over fifty years, and I, indeed, have so very much to be grateful for.
Some of the healings and demonstrations include those of so-called children's diseases, bronchitis, colds, influenza, a heart condition (which was related in an earlier issue of the Christian Science Sentinel), symptoms of bursitis, and what appeared to be pneumonia. Human relationships have been restored, employment problems solved, lost articles found, and there have been numerous demonstrations of protection, including complete recovery from an accident.
While I am deeply grateful for these healings, I am more grateful for the valuable spiritual lessons learned, for negative traits of character replaced by humility, love, and forgiveness. And I'm even more grateful for the spiritual progress that inevitably ensues as one gains a little more understanding of the Christ, Truth, contained in the Scriptures.
