I would like to relate healings in connection with the births of our children. We chose to have the births take place at home, which was a real blessing for all of us. I am particularly grateful for the Christian Science nurses who lovingly cared for me and the newborn infant after each birth.
During the time before the birth of our first child, I had studied the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings, using the Concordances to these books. During this prayerful preparation I learned more of God as our loving Father-Mother and saw that the spiritual harmony of His creation includes every one of us eternally.
Toward the end of the pregnancy, on a Saturday, there were indications that labor was about to begin. Then nothing happened. On Monday I called the obstetrician. He was very concerned when I described what had taken place. He told me that if labor did not start in twenty-four hours, he would ask me to go to the hospital, as he feared complications.
