There is no greater demand upon the Christian Scientist than to live the teachings of Christ Jesus. But how can we best do this? How can we, in the words of the apostle, "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus"?Phil. 3:14.
Christ Jesus is our Way-shower; his example gives the light of life to his followers in every age. He said, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."John 8:12.
Jesus' life demonstrated the supremacy of Spirit over every phase of error. He proved the spiritual truth he uttered. He maintained dominion over sin, disease, and death on the basis of his pure spirituality. Jesus' example illustrated the fact that the divinity of the Christ must be made practical for humanity.
