I just love Christian Science. I love it for the wonderful truths it reveals about God, our one and only creator; these truths reaffirm all that the Bible and Christ Jesus taught. I love it for the uplifting truths it reveals about man. I love it for its liberating influence in our lives, freeing us from all the limiting and ignorant beliefs of the human mind.
Christian Science has healed me of pain, boils, a cyst, fever, malaria, colds, difficulties associated with pregnancy and childbirth, shyness, fear, academic problems, and financial problems. My children have been healed of measles, mumps, malaria, high fever, colds, boils, burns, and injuries. My husband likewise has been healed of various physical illnesses.
The Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mrs. Eddy, says in one of her books, Rudimental Divine Science, "Sickness is the schoolmaster, leading you to Christ; first to faith in Christ; next to belief in God as omnipotent; and finally to the understanding of God and man in Christian Science, whereby you learn that God is good, and in Science man is His likeness, the forever reflection of goodness." I agree with her absolutely. As a result of the various challenges my husband and I have had to contend with, I am more convinced than ever of the presence and the absolute supremacy of God, divine Mind. I can perceive more clearly what it means to be made in God's image and likeness, as the first chapter of the Bible reveals.
