"...for you a light above the sun"

From the May 1990 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In The Chronicles of Narnia, a fantasy adventure tale for young people and adults, C. S. Lewis tells about a dark underland ruled by a wicked queen with mesmeric powers. She captures the heroes of the story, and at one point they attempt to describe to this evil entity the sun and sky to which they long to return. The wicked queen asks them a few apparently mild questions.

"What is this sun that you all speak of?" she asks. "Do you mean anything by the word?"

One of the earthlings has tried to describe the sun as being like a great lamp hanging in the sky. The wicked queen asks what it hangs from.
