Right from the heart

From the May 1990 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"Good morning!" As I turned, my eye caught his microphone and followed its cord back to the tape recorder slung from his shoulder. He introduced himself, and I recognized the name from local radio. "Did you know the President is going to visit our state today?" Acknowledging my affirmative response, he continued, "Do you have any advice for him?" I took a deep breath and held it for a second. The man in office was definitely not the man I had voted for.

"My advice to the President is that he always act according to his highest sense of right." The reporter cocked his head slightly, looking somewhat surprised.
