ENCIRCLING THE GLOBE

From the May 1990 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Growth is evident in our Sunday School. The enthusiasm, love, and dedication expressed, along with the prayers of each member in the Sunday School, have contributed to this growth: from the little children learning the simple truths about God and their relationship to Him, to the senior class contributing with its active participation and growing interest in the weekly Bible Lessons. Many children have had healings as a result of what they are learning in the Sunday School and gaining from their own study of the weekly Bible Lesson.

The whole membership of our church enjoyed the inspirational meeting held for Sunday School. It was conducted by one of the senior class pupils, and the participants were all the children themselves, showing Sunday School in action. Several healings were shared, given by each child in his or her own words. Their innocence and sincerity were an example to the rest of us.

Young Christian Scientists and friends from different parts of Chile (such as Vallenar, Santiago, Viňa del Mar, Curico, Concepcion, Valdura, Punta Arenas) attended a youth meeting that took place in Santiago. Also present were young people from Arequipa, Peru.
