Comments from young Czechoslovaks

From the February 1991 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Jana: I grasped, at least partly, the difference between the prayer for healing [that is] full of uncertainty about the result, and knowing the fact that God created man healthy and is maintaining him that way all the time. This truth I accepted fully.

Pavla: I was mostly attracted by the idea that the whole world is controlled according to certain order. There is no anarchy, since everything functions under God's law .... I also realized how important it is to ask right questions.

Jirka: For me, Christian Science was new. I completely accepted the idea that matter is always full of limits, since material thinking does not exist without limiting elements. Therefore real freedom can be experienced only in Spirit.
