In 1988 we were blessed with the arrival of our third daughter. Before her birth there were many opportunities to prove through the practice of Christian Science that God is man's Life.
Early in the pregnancy I started bleeding. I called a Christian Science practitioner for help through prayer. She was very loving and supportive. As a result of her prayer, I really felt the presence of God.
We were to fly from Australia to the United States in just a few weeks. From the time my husband and I began planning this move, we had been prayerfully working with these words from a hymn in the Christian Science Hymnal:
