Recently I was loading a wheelbarrow with roof shingles when I stepped on a long shingle nail, which went through my shoe deep into my foot. I removed it immediately. The pain was quite intense. I prayed to know that God was right there, in control, and that there could be no accident or injury to God's man, who is in truth the image and likeness of God. I saw that, as God's child, man is really spiritual, sinless, whole, complete, and free from any accident. The pain soon ceased.
As I continued my task, I remembered a similar incident that had occurred many years ago when I ran a nail into my foot. I was confined at home for several days with the foot propped up. At that time I had been feeling considerable resentment toward a fellow worker. It was quite a mental struggle to overcome the resentment toward this individual, but as I was able to do this through prayer, the healing of my foot came.
In this current healing experience, I was freed immediately with no aftereffects or lingering discomfort.
