Some lessons on love and reconciliation

From the June 1991 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Healing is a process of reconciliation. Does that sound strange?

It isn't really, if we think of healing in spiritual terms—as the act of bringing our thoughts into line with God. This process involves alertness and watchfulness because we need to understand more fully that we actually are spiritual, not material.

As God's ideas we are in fact inseparable from Him. But sometimes challenges arise and our sense of His love doesn't seem as clear as it should be. This is where prayer to perceive more deeply our relation to God will help us.
