At school one day my friends and I were playing tag. One friend hit me in the nose by accident, and I fell and hit my head on a big rock.
I went to the nurse's office and I lay down on the bed. I slept, and when I woke up I thought I felt all right. But I didn't feel that I could sit up.
I remembered from the Lord's Prayer in the Bible: "Thy kingdom come." In the spiritual interpretation of this from Science and Health it says, "Thy kingdom is come; Thou art ever-present." So I knew that God was right there with me. Then God said to me, "John, sit up," and I sat up. God's presence was there!
A half-hour later my mom and dad came to pick me up, and when my mom touched me, I felt wonderful. I am glad to know that God is ever with me.
