My introduction to Christian Science came after I had been searching many years to find the truth. I had explored several different faiths, but none really was right for me until I found Christian Science. When I did find it, it was like a brilliant burst of indescribable light.
One day, while walking in a distant part of Los Angeles, on a street where I had never been before, I saw a sign reading, "Free Christian Science Literature." I picked up copies of the Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel. I immediately knew that this was the religion I had been seeking for many years. My husband and I joined the church as soon as it was possible, and enrolled our children in a Christian Science Sunday School.
Over two years ago I had a wonderful healing I want to share with others, for it really proves that Christian Science heals. One morning I was found unconscious on the floor. Since I had not been answering telephone calls, a neighbor was asked to look in on me. A Christian Science practitioner came to my home and arranged for me to enter a Christian Science care facility.
