Finding true worth

From the April 2000 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Every felt that you were worthless? Or, maybe even worse, that everyone else thinks you're worthless?

Probably most of us would answer yes. Sometimes young people are especially susceptible to such feelings. Movies, TV shows, and magazines present models that are almost impossible to emulate—and that are often advisable not to emulate—yet it's easy to think we should be like them. And, of course, to many young people, other kids always seem to be more popular and to have all the advantages. It all can make someone feel pretty unworthy.

Each one of us has immeasurable worth, however, that can't be taken away. And the Christian Science Sunday School has an integral role to play in making that worth known to the under-twenty set.
