Injuries overcome through divine Love

On My Way to Work one day I slipped on some black ice and fell very hard on my back. I immediately affirmed that there are no accidents in God's kingdom and that God's child had not been, and never could be, hurt. The pain receded enough so that I could walk the rest of the way to work, feeling tremendously uplifted.

But by noon I was again in considerable pain when I walked or moved. I spent my lunch hour at the Christian Science Reading Room, as I usually do. I began by reading that week's Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly, which, as usual, seemed tailored to meet my needs exactly.
