The joy of spiritual discovery

From the June 2000 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I pray during the week for my Sunday School class; so for me, Sunday School never stops. I find moments of inspiration throughout each day. My prayers include support for each student's receptivity to, and understanding of, the spiritual truths we've discussed each week in class. They also include a clear recognition of each one's ability to use these truths to heal. I entrust my students to divine Love's embrace.

The Sunday School is open to every young person in the community; no one under the age of twenty is left out. Throughout each week, my prayer includes all the community's children.

Students face many challenges throughout the week. I pray to be alert to these challenges, particularly those involving false pressures to conform, which are often promoted by the media and urged by peers. Seeking divine Mind's direction, I can be ready to discuss any concept with my students and help them to discover spiritual answers.
