Jaw trouble healed

From the March 2017 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Christ is ever present, and we can experience the benefits of its tender action wherever we are, no matter what.

It was the first time I was called to be a substitute soloist for a Sunday service at a Church of Christ, Scientist, and I wanted to do it well. On Saturday I decided to get my hair done, and as I was sitting under the dryer, my jaw began to ache. I prayed, and the aching subsided slightly, but by the time I arrived home it was really bothering me and I was finding it difficult to open my mouth very wide.

That evening things remained the same. I tried to practice my solo but was not very successful at getting much tone and could not open my mouth very far. I decided to pray much more diligently. I remained unafraid, as I had always trusted God and knew I could trust Him now.
