Letters

From the May 2019 issue of The Christian Science Journal

How can I put into words the joy, spiritual enlightenment, and enthusiastic encouragement I received from the whole February 2019 Journal!

The first article by Evan Mehlenbacher, “A Cause worth supporting,” gave a kick-start to the importance of my individual work of demonstrating the power of God to overcome evil. Then Ethel Baker’s interview, “What does it mean to be spiritual?” gave such a clear definition of what it means to be spiritual. Both Randal Craft (“Certainty versus probability”) and Nathan Mozzer (“Blessings from Mary Baker Eddy’s hymns”) presented hymns as an important source of inspiration, which reinforced my love of our hymnals. And Anne Daly’s article, “No limited activity in divine Mind,” specifically inspired me to not accept age as a limit.

How grateful I am that you publish these articles so I can feel closer to God.
