How often have you attended a church service looking for an answer, a solution, or a healing and come away with just what you needed? I remember trying to find healing of a growth on my spine that for months had made sitting uncomfortable, causing me to lean to one side or the other of a seat. Because I had always found healing through Christian Science, I knew I would be healed of this problem, too.
Around this time a service in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, so inspired me that soon afterward the healing thought came in a flash: “I can’t be sick—I have God’s work to do!” Immediately, I knew the growth was gone, simply not there anymore. With that realization, there was no more lump and no more pain. I’ve been able to sit normally and comfortably ever since.
