In the Old Testament there is a prophecy of the coming of the Messiah, depicted by Isaiah in words that are both beautiful and significant. He states in Chapter 9: "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
