Christian Science heals. These three words ring like a joyful peal of bells on the ears of the sick and depressed, bringing hope and comfort.

In the material world, with its many conflicts, this profound promise of centuries past, given us by our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, still provokes assurance (John 14: 27 ): "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
