
Testimonies of Healing
I am grateful for many blessings received through Christian Science. It has been my only physician since 1914.
When I came into Christian Science over ten years ago, I was on a strict diet, afraid to eat, on the verge of despair, and could not walk one block without suffering. The physician, who was kind and tender, could do nothing for me.
When I turned to Christian Science, it was not so much for the physical healing, although I very much needed it, as it was to know and to understand God. I had attended Christian Science services for a year, and was much impressed with the happiness I saw in the faces of those attending.
I am so grateful for the many proofs of God's ever present love and careful guidance of His children which the study of Christian Science has revealed, that I wish to express my gratitude through the periodicals which have been such a help to me. Christian Science came to my attention about five years ago while I was training in a medical hospital.

I attended my first lecture on Christian Science eighteen years ago, out of curiosity. My desire to know something of what Christian Science meant must have made it possible for a neighbor, who had repeatedly heard me complain of liver trouble, to offer to help me.
I want to tell how grateful I am for having been brought up as a Christian Scientist. Every day I realize more what this has meant and is meaning to me.
With a deep sense of gratitude for the wonderful truth taught in Christian Science, which has come into my life to heal and save, and with the hope that it may bring comfort and courage to some who are suffering, I am sending this account of the experiences which led me from darkness into light and joy. From early childhood I had been troubled with weak digestion; and as I grew up I frequently suffered intensely from indigestion, which seemed to make me very nervous.
Christian Science found me twelve years ago. At that time I was in Montana herding sheep.
With heartfelt gratitude I wish to testify to the healing power of Christian Science. In 1918, 1 suffered from the grippe, and afterwards from attacks with which the physicians were not even acquainted, and which frequently recurred three or four times daily.
