Testimonies of Healing

Five years ago I was healed of rheumatism, after all medical treatment had failed to cure. I have also been healed of tumor in three months' treatment, pneumonia in one treatment, and of susceptibility to colds and sick headaches.

With sincere gratitude I wish to testify to a healing received through Christian Science in 1918. I was stricken with pleurisy and pneumonia.

In talking with a friend recently I remarked, "If Christian Science offered no help at all in time of sickness, it would still be the greatest blessing in the world in teaching one how to live," and my own experience has been proof of the statement. Although raised in a denominational church I gave up even church attendance at the earliest opportunity.

For a number of years I have been a student of Christian Science, but as my interest was not occasioned by physical healing I have only recently realized that it is not only my duty but a privilege to testify through the periodicals to the benefits derived from the study of this teaching. When I ask myself, "What benefits have you derived?" I am overwhelmed with the number and the magnitude of them.

It is with a deep sense of gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me that I am sending this testimony. About six years ago I had what the doctors termed a nervous breakdown.

Having had a most wonderful healing, I feel it a joy to tell it to others. A few months ago I fell and dislocated my left shoulder and broke the large bone of the arm.

It has been my desire for some time to express my gratitude for the understanding of God and His perfect creation which has been revealed to me through the study of Christian Science. The first time the light of Truth dawned upon my darkened sense was indeed most wonderful.

I wish to express gratitude for my healing and for the many blessings which I have received through Christian Science, and especially for having been led in the way of Truth. Three years ago I was engaged as nurse in a hospital and had typhoid fever patients in my charge.

I am glad to tell of the many blessings and proofs of God's loving and protecting care which I have received through Christian Science. Christian Science healed me of an incurable disease after all material means had failed.

I can vouch for the above testimony as being correct in every detail. Through my daughter's wonderful healing, after years of suffering and the failure of materia medica even to relieve her, I too turned to Christian Science and had some wonderful healings.
