Testimonies of Healing

I should like to add my testimony lo that of thousands of others who have been healed through Christian Science. Twentyfive years ago I met with a very serious accident, sustaining internal injuries and fractures.

I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me, and hope it may be a help to some one in search of the truth. It is over two years since I began the study of Christian Science, and they have been the happiest years of my life, for I have learned to know God, and to know that all He has made is good.

I have postponed the writing of my testimony, feeling that I could not do justice to the truth or make one understand who had not learned to avail himself of God's mighty power to heal the sick. I had been very miserable for years; was a great sufferer from asthma for about thirty years.

More than five years ago I learned of Christian Science and what it had done for many persons both physically and mentally. I had been out of health much of the time for many years, and had tried different methods of treatment until it seemed there was not one more for me to try.

A deep feeling of gratitude impels me to give thanks for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. It found me some two and a half years ago in a sad condition.

Three years ago I had to consult a doctor, as I was suffering great pain and wasting to a shadow. The doctor ordered me to a hospital, where I was operated on by a specialist, who informed my son that I was suffering from a malignant growth, that he could do nothing for me, and that I could not possibly live more than six months at the most, as the growth was attached to the vital organs and could not be removed.

My heart overflows with love and thankfulness to God, and with gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for the blessings I have received in Christian Science.

I wish to express my gratitude to God for the many blessings which Christian Science has brought into. my life.

I am nineteen years old and had worn a truss as long as I can remember, my mother having told me that the trouble which required its use dated back to my birth. I could not be without it for one hour, as severe pain would set in, and my greatest wish had always been that I might be freed from this trouble without having to undergo an operation.

I desire to express my deep sense of gratitude for the many blessings which my family and myself have received through Christian Science. I have been cured of inflammation of the inner ear, of rheumatism, and also of headaches of long standing.
