Testimonies of Healing

"My cup runneth over" ( Ps. 23:5 )conveys my gratitude for the many blessings I have received since my last testimony was published in 1978.

One snowy day two years ago, I shared my joy and exhilaration with other skiers on the mountain over the depth of the fresh snow that continued to fall. While I was skiing to a mountainside restaurant to join my husband and children for lunch, one of my skis caught in the deep snow, causing me to fall.

[ Original in Spanish ] With immeasurable gratitude and joy for having been guided to Christian Science, I offer this testimony as proof of the fruitage that results from the study and practice of this teaching. The evidences of God's power in healing the difficulties that I, as well as my wife and our children, have had over many years are numerous.

Each year Christian Science becomes more precious to me, and I am more able to use it in the minutiae of my daily life. With a growing understanding that God's goodness is ever unfolding, available to me and all, I have found I am able to accomplish more each day and to maintain a greater sense of calm.

I am Fausta's mother, and I am happy to confirm what she has written regarding my healing. I was instantaneously and entirely freed at last from the pain.

A deep search for true moral and Christian values led me to the study of Christian Science through a neighbor—a sincere student of its teachings. I began to study Science out of a sincere desire to leave limitations and slavery to materiality.

One of my earliest memories is that of sitting at a table in a Sunday School class upstairs in an old house that was our branch Church of Christ, Scientist. Though I didn't always appreciate Sunday School, I never resisted coming.

I am so grateful that Christian Science came into my experience early in life, before marriage and family. There have been many healings over the years.

I am very grateful to God for many healings accomplished through the study and application of Christian Science. These include a sprained wrist, colds, headaches, and a quick healing of measles when I was fifteen.

I am very grateful for having been raised in Christian Science, which early taught me I could trust God to meet all my needs. When I was a freshman in high school, my physical appearance became very important to me.
