
Testimonies of Healing
My introduction to Christian Science, many years ago, was a confirmation of Isaiah's words, when he represents God as saying, "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear" ( Isa. 65:24 ).
My very first healing in Christian Science was an instantaneous one of crossed eyes when I was a young teen-ager. Some years later, in spite of the specialist's predictions on account of my being too small, harmonious childbirth, without labor, took place without any assistance other than that of a Christian Science midwife.
Many years ago, as I sat in the office of our family physician, having just been given another thorough examination, I heard these words, "Young lady, you are going to have to try Christian Science as I can do nothing more for you. There is just nothing else left.
