Testimonies of Healing

I am very grateful for the understanding of God and of man made in His image and likeness which I have gained through the study of Christian Science. I have proved this Science to be indeed the law of God, for discord of whatever kind has been healed when it has been applied.

My gratitude for Christian Science is exceedingly great. This blessed teaching has changed my whole life, has made me healthy, happy, fearless, and hopeful, and has given me confidence.

Although I am a young student of Christian Science, this religion of Love has already brought so many blessings to me and to my family that I should like to share them with others. We have had healings of a staphylococcus infection of the blood stream, ear abscesses, boils, and the results of accidents; also lost articles have been recovered.

During a human relationship problem, the effects of which seemed about to cost me my responsible place in the business world, Christian Science was presented to me. I began its study that evening.

To tell others in words what Christian Science has done for me is not easy; but with the desire to say "thank you," and in the hope that my testimony may help others, I will try. The blessings which its ministrations have bestowed are many.

My earliest memories are connected with Christian Science and its healing power. I am grateful that even before I could read the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly for myself, my parents used to read it aloud in our home, and this daily study, continued, has been the most helpful influence in my life.

When I was a boy, Christian Science came to me through my mother, who had been healed of neuralgic headaches from which she had suffered since girlhood. Well do I remember the day when she threw out onto the rubbish pile the homeopathic pills and vials of home remedies which were common in that day.

It is twenty years since I took up the study of Christian Science, although when I was a boy in my teens I had heard of it as a new religion which taught that heaven is here now, that all is harmony, and that sickness, sin, and death are not the truth of being. I said to myself, "That is just how it ought to be.

With humility and deepest thankfulness to God, to Christ Jesus, and to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I testify to a few of the countless blessings and healings which the study and practice of Christian Science have brought to my family and me. About twenty-seven years ago our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs.

Because of a better understanding of God, which the study of Christian Science has given me, I submit this testimony. Over thirty-five years ago I was healed through Christian Science of constant headaches.
