It is with much gratitude that I testify that five generations of my family have known and been blessed by Christian Science. My grandmother kept Science and Health by Mrs.

Many times I have wanted to write of my gratitude for Christian Science, but have hesitated because it seemed that I had no outstanding and impressive physical healing of which to tell. But each proof of God's ever-present love and care is equally important, and gratitude is not proportionate to mortal mind's estimate of the healing.

My gratitude is boundless for Christian Science, which was presented to me by a sister when I was in great need. I had been hungering for an understanding of God for years.

One of the greatest pleasures of my life is to tell the story of God's unfailing care. Words alone can never express my gratitude, but together with my earnest endeavor to be more Christlike, they can do much.

Mrs. Eddy writes on page 494 of Science and Health, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.

The privilege of being raised in a home where Christian Science was lived and loved was indeed a great one. Each day I am awakening to a higher sense of gratitude for this and for the years I had in the Christian Science Sunday School.

Joy and gratitude for the precious gift of Christian Science impel me to offer this testimony to all who desire to know if this religion heals. At the time of the passing on of my mother, Christian Science was comparatively new to me, yet I had no sense of separation because I saw clearly that Life never ends.

After many years of gaining comfort and inspiration from reading testimonies in our periodicals, I will give my own in the hope that it will encourage other readers. My interest in Christian Science was first awakened by the almost fanatical misstatements made in their sermons by our local Protestant ministers, who were aroused by the holding of services by a few students of Science in our town.

Having witnessed so much suffering in the home during my childhood and young womanhood, I shall never forget the wonderful light that dawned upon my troubled sense as I caught my first glorious glimpses of Christian Science over twenty-five years ago. I shall never cease to be thankful for the fulfillment of its rich promises which have been manifested in my experience in the degree that I have been faithful and obedient to its teachings.
