Testimonies of Healing

I joined an orthodox church when very young, mainly because I loved the people who attended and wanted always to be near them. Changes began to come in the home, and the family moved to a distant city.

" It is more blessed to give than to receive" ( Acts 20:35 ). I have gained so much good from reading the Christian Science periodicals that I desire to give in one of them my expression of gratitude for the many blessings which I have received through the teachings of the Holy Scriptures and of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

It is with a sincere desire to share with others the blessings which have come to me from the study and application of Christian Science that I submit this testimony. Mrs.

Nearly thirty years ago I became interested in Christian Science, and since then I have had many proofs of the healing and regenerative power of divine Love, and every day I become more and more grateful for the many blessings I have received through the study of this Science. I expressed gratitude some years ago through the Christian Science Sentinel for healings I had received.

I have read so many testimonies and been helped by them that I should like to give mine. My most outstanding healing was of a discontented state of mind.

In this period in the world's history, homelessness and displacement are worldwide problems. Mrs.

I wish to give this testimony in the hope that it will help others as their testimonies have helped me, and also to "praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!" ( Ps. 107:8.

I should like to express my deep gratitude for the healing of my little daughter of cholera infantum, after the doctors had declared that she was lost. Thanks to the devoted help of a Christian Science practitioner who aided me greatly and my study of Science, my little girl was healed.

The logic and reasonableness of Christian Science appealed to me when I was desperately in need of God. As I read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I knew I was beginning to learn self-evident, eternal truths about God.

Although I have studied Christian Science for thirty years, this is the first testimony I have submitted. This Science met our need at the births of five children.
