Testimonies of Healing

Many beautiful healings have proved to me and mine the efficacy of Christian Science. Feeling that a written expression of thanks might help other seekers of Truth to partake of the heavenly manna which comes to us all when we diligently seek it, I give this testimony.

I want to tell of a wonderful healing of severe sick headache, for it meant much to me. I had had treatment for two years and had had relief, but every month the trouble recurred.

My gratitude for all that Christian Science has brought into my life can never be expressed in words. Instead of illness and suffering, it has given me health and strength.

Christian Science came into my life when I witnessed the healing of a fellow college student. In a mistaken effort to help this friend, I had called a physician, and had been very much troubled to hear his verdict that my friend would be confined to her bed for several weeks.

I am very grateful to Christian Science for the numerous blessings which I have received through it. To speak first of all of physical benefits, I shall say that formerly I was very sensitive to cold.

I can no longer delay to express publicly my deep appreciation of and gratitude for Christian Science. It has healed me of many things, among them grief over my mother's passing on, financial difficulties, and the fear of lack.

I am grateful for this privilege of sharing with others some of the many blessings I have received through the healing power of Christian Science. Prior to taking up this study I had never read the Bible, but now I find it to be a constant inspiration and guide when read in connection with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and other writings by Mary Baker Eddy.

Before I became a student of Christian Science I suffered from intense shyness. I very much disliked meeting people, and avoided social engagements whenever possible.

Since I became a student of Christian Science, twenty odd years ago, it has been my only help through the many trials which have confronted me. Through the truth contained in the statement in Science and Health by Mrs.

In gratitude to our loving Father-Mother God for His manifold blessings, I submit this testimony. The first healing of which I am aware came to me when I was a small child, shortly after my family had become acquainted with Christian Science.
