Testimonies of Healing

I am very grateful for what Christian Science has done for my family and for me. We have had many proofs of its healing power.

So much joy and freedom is pouring into my life year by year through my effort to live Christian Science that I want to testify to its healing power in a way which may help others. Many times I have found that a careful and consecrated study of the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly has uncovered and destroyed error.

"Blessed be Christian Science," is the constant song in my heart. I wish I could express in words my gratitude for the wonderful freedom and protection that I have experienced through the study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by that consecrated and divinely inspired woman, Mary Baker Eddy.

Christian science has brought me so many blessings that I feel I must express my appreciation of them. Eleven years ago I was sick in body and thought; many kinds of discord were being manifested in our home.

I caught my first glimpse of Christian Science about twenty-five years ago. At that time a son, about seven years old, was healed of inflammatory rheumatism.

It is with sincere gratitude that I wish to tell of a recent demonstration in our home. About three years ago my husband lost his position, and it became necessary for us to move to a cottage on a beautiful lake in this northern country.

Many beautiful healings have come to me through the power of Truth as taught and demonstrated in Christian Science. The greatest, the most glorious of these healings was that of ignorance of God.

It is with deep gratitude to God for His priceless gift, Christian Science, revealed to this age through our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, that I write this testimony. Twenty-eight years ago this Science was brought to my notice when my mother was given up by materia medica.

I wish to express my gratitude to Christian Science by telling of a wonderful healing which was the direct result of my listening to a Christian Science lecture over the radio. I had been suffering for eight days and nights with severe pains in the arm and shoulder, from what I believe would be called neuritis.

I have had many convincing proofs of God's presence and protection through the study and application of Christian Science. One specific healing for which I am grateful is that of blood poisoning, which appeared in both legs of our three-months-old son.
