Testimonies of Healing

IT WAS A LOVELY FALL DAY, and I was playing with my two small granddaughters after they returned home from school. They loved swinging on their swings and having me throw piles of leaves on them.

Following a severe motor accident, I found myself suffering from a nervous condition, although my physical injuries were minor. A doctor prescribed pills, and when I asked how long I should take them, he replied, "Probably all your life.

I GOT REGIS, my Great Dane, when he was a puppy, many years ago. Every year, I took him to the veterinarian to get his required shots.

MY BABY WAS two months old when he died. Several people from the church I belonged to at that time told me this was God's will.

I was introduced to Christian Science a little over two years ago by a friend who gave me a copy of Science and Health. I had developed an allergy while doing research in Milan, Italy.

A few years ago, when I went in to get some new eyeglasses, the ophthalmologist told me that I had glaucoma. On a later visit, I was told that I also had the beginning of a cataract.

Since my introduction to Christian Science almost 30 years ago, I have had many wonderful healings of physical problems, including the effects of tear gas, burns, back strain, and rectal bleeding. But here I would like to testify to a transformation that helped me let go of a hateful memory and decidedly unchristian thoughts.

I would start to become faint whenever I had to stand for an extended period. The third time this occurred, I was home, waiting for company to arrive, when the dizziness overcame me.
