Testimonies of Healing

Verification of Healings

These healings are verified by people who can vouch for the testifier or who know of the healing. Examples of Christian healing from individuals and families around the world have been published in the Christian Science periodicals for well over 125 years.

More from Denver

I have been cured of chronic inflammation and pain in the side,—thanks to the Divine Principle and Dr. Wickersham.

Headache

For eighteen years I have been a sufferer from nervous sick-headache, caused by kidney and other troubles; and found no permanent relief until I placed myself under the care of a Christian Scientist, who has indeed brought me out from the valley of despair. I am renewed both mentally and physically, and rejoice that there is a Power beyond medicine.

Our change yearns after Thine unchangèdness, Our mortal craves Thine immortality; Our manifold and multiform and weak Imperfectness requires the Perfect One. Mulock.

Denver's Testimony

I feel it but just to send in my testimonial. I had been sick about three years, with a bad cough and difficult breathing.

Eye Restored

A Christian Scientist writes as follows:— I have just cured, in four treatments, a little boy who was blind in one eye. The blindness had been caused by an injury; but through my treatment he has now a perfect eye.

North Munroe, N. H.

My precious friend : I often think of you as earnestly engaged in the good work, so dear to you and so beneficial to suffering humanity. Most earnestly do I hope that Christian Science will come off victorious over all its opponents, and that those who have so long been held in bondage by sin and sickness may see the dawn of a glorious liberty, and a day of release from suffering.

Mind or Bristle?

A young lady suffered much from throat-distemper, and insisted that it was caused by a bristle from her tooth-brush, which she felt sure had lodged in the folds near the palate. Her physician could find no such obstruction; but he called in another doctor, who examined her throat, declared that he could see the bristle, and carefully removed it,—or rather pretended to do so, showing the patient a bristle which he had concealed in his hand for I the purpose.

Western Work

Dear Teacher :—Have we been undutiful in keeping silence so long? We think of your labor and unceasing care in the work of establishing Christ's kingdom upon earth, the opening of eyes spiritually blinded, and the unstopping of deaf ears; and we long to become efficient workers, patient, loving, zealous, and true. We meet with many discouragements, but our victories serve to plant our feet firmer on the Rock; and thus shall we meet and triumph over every belief of error, and reach the harmony of true Being.
