Testimonies of Healing

During the descent of a flight, I suddenly and unexpectedly suffered very intense head pains. This troubled me.

Attending class instruction in Christian Science was the most educational and freeing two weeks of my life. Delving into the Bible and Mary Baker Eddy’s writings lays the foundation for inspired prayer, study, and solid, metaphysical thinking, which, following Christ Jesus’ original teachings, leads to healing.

A longstanding problem is healed. 

Recently, there were more and more warnings in the media about the dangers of being hit by a lightning stroke. This reminds me of an experience I had in my childhood.

Over a year ago I began having a series of times when I would lose consciousness. While there was no pain or memory of the experience once I came to, it was still frightening to think that even for a moment I could be disconnected from my true consciousness, divine Mind—which in truth I couldn’t be.

Some years back, my wife took our son to the doctor for a checkup, which his new school required. After the checkup, the doctor said that although our boy was strong and healthy, the exam revealed that he had an undescended testicle.

Last fall, I ran a half marathon. It was a very windy day—even portable toilets and mile markers were upended by the wind.

I want to express my deep gratitude for a healing that took place many years ago. I was a relatively new student of Christian Science, having been raised in an orthodox religion, and I had not yet experienced a significant healing through the study and practice of Christian Science.
