Some years ago my attention was drawn to Christian Science by the overcoming of a severe headache. A friend who came in one day when I had one of these attacks, offered to help me, and I told her she might do so. That was about nine o'clock in the morning, and in a short time I was able to get up and prepare the dinner. From that day to this, about twelve years, I have never had a headache.
Soon after my first healing an injured ankle was cured through the power of Truth, and since then Christian Science has been my helper. About five years ago three little grandchildren were left to my charge. Their mother had passed on with lung trouble, and as she was not a believer in Christian Science, to mortal sense the children were afflicted, the oldest boy having a severe cough, the second a rupture, and the third a growth on the foot which the doctors called a tubercular condition. Having learned that God is all-power, I was not afraid, remembering the Master's promise, "Lo, I am with you alway." Today those children are well and strong. The foot which the doctor said would have to be amputated is entirely cured, and there is no sign whatever of the growth.
