I am so glad to know that I can rely absolutely on God! We are told that we really know only what we are able to prove; and Christian Science is teaching me that in the degree that I trust God and keep the Commandments, that is, refuse to believe in a power or presence apart from God, good, the proofs will be gained.
During the fifteen years since I became interested in Christian Science it has healed all discordant conditions that have arisen, and has been my only physician. Accidents, bad burns, ptomaine poisoning, bronchitis, what was probably an ulcerated tooth, and minor ailments, have all yielded to Truth. When great sorrow and a sense of loneliness seemed present, this thought came—that nobody had gone anywhere, the dear ones were right where they always had been, in God's presence, and I was there also.
In these and many other ways I am learning that Christian Science is indeed the Comforter; and I am unspeakably grateful for this wonderful truth which our Father-Mother God has given us in the life and works of Christ Jesus and of our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.— Manchester, New Hampshire.
