I want to express my gratitude for the many healings and blessings and for the peace and joy which I have experienced since I took up the study of Christian Science.
I am thankful to the dear lady who brought Christian Science to me at a time when I was very much in need of healing. I had been suffering from sinus trouble for over two years and had in that time gone to many physicians and tried about every material remedy known; the next was to be an operation on my nose. I was healed in a very short time through the work of a Christian Science practitioner. That was over twelve years ago. Since then Christian Science has been my only physician. Among other things I have been freed from the need of wearing glasses, and healed of colds, headaches, sprained ankle, burns, mashed finger, ptomaine poisoning, and a disease in both of my thumb nails. I now have normal nails. I have also been healed of the belief that certain foods had power to hurt me.
About five years ago I awoke one Sunday morning with an attack of influenza. I was told by other people who lived in the same house that I had been delirious all night. I called a practitioner at eight o'clock that morning and asked her to work for me. The result was that I was able to go to work on Monday morning as usual.
