ASSOCIATION

From the August 1938 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Dear Father, all our opening hearts could hold
Thou gav'st. We took our talents and went forth
To trade with them, and thus increase their worth,
And bring our Father interest manifold.
Lord, we have wrought and labored, and behold,
Not one hath hid his treasure in the earth.
Now, with a wealth involving no man's dearth,
We bring our increase to the Father's fold.

Bless Thou our work, and send us out once more,
Encouraged and refreshed, to live for Thee;
Harmless as doves, and wiser than before,
Striving more firmly and more patiently;
Grateful and glad that from Thy boundless store
More wealth pours forth than we today can see.
