My first healing was of insomnia, a sleepless night always being followed by great suffering the next day. A few days after beginning the study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, as I was preparing to retire, I thought: "I don't care whether I sleep or not. I will be grateful for the beautiful truths I have learned." That was the last of the insomnia, and it was the last of the contents of my medicine chest, for I saw that I should have no more need for medicine.
