WITH tender persuasion Christian Science is revealing to mankind the truth necessary for the correction of error, for the healing of the woes of the world. Because it is the law of God, Christian Science is irrevocable, its continuity unbroken, its healing power never impaired. It unmasks and obliterates every claim of the carnal so-called mind to existence, intelligence, or power. It refutes and silences the lie named evil.
Christian Science redeems one from belief in a material origin or existence, restoring to him his rightful inheritance as a child of God. When our loved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, perceived that perfect God and imperfect man could not both be true, she drew the only possible conclusion, announced in her words on page 548 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures": "In this Science, we discover man in the image and likeness of God. We see that man has never lost his spiritual estate and his eternal harmony." Thus, with clarity of vision unequaled since the days of the Master, she revealed to humanity the inalienable birthright of the real man, even his complete at-one-ment with God, his Father-Mother.
No human conditions or circumstances can be outside the direct and immediate influence of Christian Science. Quietly, and with unlabored activity, when understood and rightly utilized it harmonizes whatever to material sense appears discordant, disordered, or unrighteous. Material sense, ignorant of the spiritual universe and spiritual man, has no comprehension of the unchanging perfection of infinite Mind and its creation. The mesmerism of material sense is corrected by spiritual understanding, which comforts, heals, and regenerates human consciousness. Spiritual understanding is thus the most precious of all acquirements, because it is the one potent remedy for error, and it is within reach of all, a spiritual gift to man from eternal Mind.
