Testimonies of Healing

It is difficult to tell in a short...

From the February 1940 issue of The Christian Science Journal

It is difficult to tell in a short space of the transformation which Christian Science brings into one's life, and one's consequent gratitude to Mrs. Eddy as its Discoverer and Founder. Before I knew of Science, my whole life seemed to be governed by fear, and I suffered from intense fits of depression. My little girl was never well, and the doctor was our most frequent visitor. The firm conviction that God is good, and governs all, has taken the place of a helpless feeling that life had no meaning, and this realization has revolutionized my life.

Through reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for a few months, I was enabled to give up glasses, which I had worn for a long time for all reading and close work. I was also healed, with the help of a practitioner, of a so-called incurable internal complaint.

My children are now all healthy and active. I am very grateful that they attend Sunday school, and are learning to work out their own problems for themselves.
