Recently I experienced a healing through Christian Science treatment, for which I am deeply grateful. Many erroneous laws of mortal mind were proved powerless during the experience of childbirth. There was a condition of bone formation, called locked pelvis, which would claim to prevent normal delivery. Also, the baby was lying in the wrong position for delivery, and was a large baby, because delivery was delayed at least a month beyond the usual time.
In the state of Michigan there is no law which requires the presence of a physician at the time of delivery. I depended entirely on Christian Science during the whole experience, and through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner, and nurse, the delivery took place normally. At least twice, all the manifestations of death seemed to be present, but these were quickly destroyed through applying the truth. Although the baby's head was unusually deformed at birth, in two days' time it was normal.
My healing took place rapidly, for I was up in three days, and resumed the entire responsibility of my home in a week's time. There were no aftereffects, and I have never been so well and strong as I have since this demonstration. I am more grateful than words can say for the patience, courage, and love of the practitioner, nurse, and friends.
