In the study of Christian Science we learn that the struggle of mankind in its journey from sense to Soul is a mental conflict between the thought of existence as mortal and material, and the understanding of existence as purely spiritual.
The belief of existence as mortal and material has been instilled into the human consciousness until mankind seems to be in hopeless bondage to this claim and its so-called laws; but through the revelation of Christian Science which Mrs. Eddy gave to the world, we see the falsity of this belief, and learn that every condition in human experience is primarily mental, evidencing either right or wrong thinking.
Christian Science has come to the discouraged and weary, who are hungering and seeking for something better than this mortal sense of existence has brought them. It assures them that no sorrow is so deep, no sin so persistent, no sickness so severe, no burden so heavy that one cannot be freed from it, no question too perplexing for solution; for there is no human condition where God, good, may not be proved supreme.
